Yanagawa City is located in the southern part of Fukuoka Prefecture, in the southwestern part of the Chikugo region. The water surface accounts for about 20% of the city's total area. The city is called "Suigo Yanagawa," a city of water, because of the ditches that run through the city.

Public transportation
Please get off at Kamaike Station on the Nishitetsu Tenjin Omuta Line and walk toward Okawa for about 10 minutes.
